Mil-Spec connector offerings are MIL-DTL-38999 series I, II & III, MIL-DTL-26482 series I & II, MIL-DTL-83723, MIL-DTL-26500 and MIL-DTL-5015. Boeing approved connectors consist of BACC45 and BACC63. Airbus approved connectors include EN3645 and EN3646. Industrial Trim Trio connector offerings include the UTS, UTG, UTO, MBG and UTV series. Commercial equivalents are available for MIL-DTL-38999 series I, II & III, MIL-DTL-26482 series I & II, MIL-DTL-83723, MIL-DTL-26500, MIL-DTL-5015, Souriau 851, 8525 and 8526.

Glenair Opto Electronic Products (Transmitters, Receivers, Media Converters)
Beginning in 2012 Air Electro teamed up with Glenair to be their first distributor to sell Glenair’s cutting-edge optoelectronic product.
Optoelectronics (also referred to as photonics) are various forms of optical transceivers/receiver assemblies, copper-to-fiber media converters, “active” connectors and cables and other devices used to convert digital electrical signals in electronic equipment into optical signals for high-bandwidth, long-distance transmission. In aerospace and other demanding environments, optoelectronics are ruggedized for resistance to temperature extremes, vibration and shock.
Commercial and military avionic platforms, as well as in-flight communications and entertainment systems, flight displays, and data servers for aerospace applications increasingly rely on high-performance, harsh-environment optoelectronic modules that convert electrical-to-optical and optical-to-electrical data streams at rates from 1 Gbps up to 10 Gbps and beyond.
The harsh environmental requirements of commercial and military aerospace (temperature extremes, vibration and shock, EMI shielding, hermetic packaging and so on) are not adequately addressed by commercial-off-the-shelf fiber optic interconnects and transceiver/receiver assemblies. Many other applications also require optoelectronic modules that can operate in harsh environments including spacecraft, military ground vehicles, navy ships, above-ground and sub-sea oil and gas production plants as well as collider physics and nuclear plants.
These products are often used in fiber optic interconnect cable assembly applications such as: environmental overmolded fiber optic cable assembly, multi-way inside-the-Box D38999-to-ST assembly, fiber optic multibranch assembly with flexible conduit wire protection and integrated cable storage bay, GFOCA I/O to board assembly with reinforcing overbraiding, high-speed video fiber optic switch and cable junction box assembly, and turnkey GFOCA fiber optic cable assembly.
Glenair Opto Electronic Product Options
Glenair PCB mount transceivers are ruggedized harsh-environment equivalents to SFP transceivers but with mechanical design suited to the harsh temperature and vibration environments found in Military, Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Railway, and Industrial applications. PCB mount optical transceivers support optional Digital Monitoring Interface (DMI) features in accordance with SFF 8472. The Transceiver is comprised of a transmitter section and a receiver section that reside on a common package and interface with a host board through a high-speed electrical connector.

Glenair is able to offer our Opto-Electronic solutions customers turnkey multichannel receptacle connectors housing integrated transceiver technology for fast/gigabit Ethernet, DVI and HDMI video, as well as various high-speed data transfer protocols. The two available connector designs incorporate Glenair small form-factor optoelectronic contacts (050-301) or an ELIO® equipped configuration that intermates with the standard ELIO® 2.5mm fiber optic terminus (050-307). Receptacles are populated with factory-tested size #8 contacts, and are ready for immediate use as fiber-optic-to electrical circuit board I/O connectors. Special size #8 cavity adapters are also available to enable construction of compatible plug connectors on the cable side.

Glenair Unmanaged and Smart Ethernet Switches and Breakout Cables
Glenair unmanaged Ethernet switches are layer 2 switches with Auto-negotiation and Auto MDI / MDIX circuitry that enables port expansion with IEEE-802.3U 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports. Developed for use in harsh environment applications, the electronics are incorporated into a panel-mountable housing that is sealed against liquid and solid contaminants and designed for shock and vibration resistance. Standard connector interfaces include high-performance size- and weight-saving Glenair Series 805 Mighty Mouse jam nut receptacles and M28876 type fiber-optic connectors.
